Kent Boyd

Professional Dancer

Kent is fan favorite and Season 7 runner up from So You Think You Can Dance. After the show, he departed on a 40 city tour around the US with the top 10 dancers and various All-Stars from past seasons. Kent has since returned to SYTYCD as an All-Star in multiple seasons. Kent also has been busy with his acting career - he has appeared in multiple episodes of the Disney Channel hit show Shake it Up, Fox's Glee and Mobbed, and had a reoccurring role on the ABC Family series Bunheads. You can see Kent as the role of Rascal in the Disney Channel's Teen Beach Musical I & II. Kent has also produced and starred in the short film It Remains which released in early 2014. Kent is returning for his 5th year as an Excel in Motion faculty member.

Dance Convention Teachers

All faculty teachers are scheduled to attend all locations, and to teach in all three levels. While all our teachers plan to be at each and every location, occasionally other professional obligations arise and a faculty member or two cannot attend. Excel works with many unbelievable teachers and will replace anyone absent with an equally qualified teacher. Our confirmed faculty for each city will be posted (with the schedule) one week in advance.
