Convention Policies

• Wrist Bands
  
  All students, teachers, and observers must be wearing the appropriate wristbands to enter the ballrooms. Please be ready to show the person at the door your band. Bands must be kept on during the entire weekend, including for admission to the Exhibition Show. Lost bands will not be replaced. No exceptions.
  
  
• Refunds
  
  Excel in Motion® has a NO REFUND POLICY.
  
  
• Check-In
  
  The person who registered the group/individual must be the one to pick up their wrist bands and tickets when checking in. Independent registration will be picked up by the last name of the person who registered. Groups (8+ dancers) can pick up their packet at the studio check in. If the person who registered will not be in attendance to pick up their packet, please contact us prior to the event.
  
  
• Ballrooms
  
  Excel chooses large ballroom spaces so everyone can have room to move in class. It is the nature of a convention (and part of the excitement!) to be crowded, but our teachers break classes up into groups to give everyone the chance to dance full out. We call on our dancers and observers to help utilize the entire space. Please do not bring large bags into the ballrooms for your classes. Bags and observers must stay behind the taped off areas in the ballrooms along the wall.
  
  
• Food & Drink
  
  There is no food allowed into the ballroom. Please limit your drinks to water bottles only.
